2" hydrocyclone sand separator for boreholes and wells
The 2-inch (2") hydrocyclone is a purpose-built device for removing sand and solid particles from water by centrifugal force. It is a core component of watering systems (drip irrigation, sprinklers) whenever the water is drawn from boreholes or wells. The particles settle in the collection tank at the bottom, which is easily emptied via a shut-off tap. Fitting it upstream of a mechanical filter is recommended for optimal protection of the water system.
