Why drill a water borehole?

How deep do the boreholes go?
We drill boreholes from 15 to 200 metres deep depending on the geological profile, the target aquifer and the intended use of the water.
How long does the drilling take?
The process takes 1 to 3 days depending on the depth and the geology. Deeper or more complex projects take up to 7 working days.
How much does drilling a borehole cost?

What casing do you use?
We use high-strength, UV-resistant PVC-U casing. For deeper boreholes we use steel casing with an anti-corrosion coating.
Is a permit required?
Boreholes deeper than 20 m require a permit from the River Basin Directorate. We assist with all the paperwork and the application process.
